Geoficciones is an ongoing project that approaches local terrestrial matter and Earth History from an investigative, experimental but also with a speculative and subjective approach. Occasionally, the project draws on archival material put into dialogue with created images (digital and analogue photography, microscopical images and collage).
The historical sources are sometimes random and, combined with the produced material, a non-linear and speculative narrative is proposed.



The appropiation of tools and scientific visual language is also at the core of the project, constantly recurring to different microscopes or other image based analytical methods in order to produce a narrative where the boundaries within art and science are blurred.
